Hello again, readers!
While it’s been a very slow week for site updates, the major news side of things have picked up. Aside from the slew of titles announced by Otomate during the Otomate Party 2016 event, the biggest news this week would probably be the mammoth 756mb trial of Blackish House Side A→. Moujuu-tachi to Ohime-sama and Oumagatoki ~Kakuriyo no Enishi~ were reviewed by Famitsuu, being awarded Famitsuu Silver and Famitsuu Gold respectively. Dogenzaka Labs released their third localisation this month, which is My Butler (Shitsuji no Prince-sama) that was made available on Steam earlier this week.

While Tsumikui ~Sen no Noroi, Sen no Inori~ and Crank In got delayed, there was some positive news with Kalmia8 unveiling their sister brand Kalmia Scarlet along with the latter’s maiden project: Les Grande Odalisque (set for 2017). Love is a Game’s Kickstarter campaign got fully funded earlier this last week and A’sRing’s Enkan on Memoria got confirmed for release this October.
Since Dogenzaka Lab released another game in Pub Encounter on Steam and Twin Project have finished and released the translation of Monochrome Heaven, I’ve updated the April Releases post.
Also, I will be making a separate post detailing a list of NaNoRenO 2016 otome games much like the style of my usual monthly posts. This is to avoid making my April Releases post and the doujin/OELVN section of next month’s Releases post overly long.
Welcome to the first issue of The Sunday Otome Gaming Mail. In these weekly posts, I’ll be publishing the information I collate to keep track of the otome world. I’ve been thinking about how a lot of the information I collect doesn’t end up on this blog or even in the monthly posts. So I thought, “why not post major news/site updates every Sunday?” It won’t be as lengthy and detailed as the event or monthly posts, but I thought it’d be nice to have small bits of information to chew on in between the main posts.
