Hello again, readers!
While it’s been a very slow week for site updates, the major news side of things have picked up. Aside from the slew of titles announced by Otomate during the Otomate Party 2016 event, the biggest news this week would probably be the mammoth 756mb trial of Blackish House Side A→. Moujuu-tachi to Ohime-sama and Oumagatoki ~Kakuriyo no Enishi~ were reviewed by Famitsuu, being awarded Famitsuu Silver and Famitsuu Gold respectively. Dogenzaka Labs released their third localisation this month, which is My Butler (Shitsuji no Prince-sama) that was made available on Steam earlier this week.
It has been a relatively slow week on the Japanese side of things (with the only major announcements being the release date announcements of Steam Prison and Code: Realize ~Shukufuku no Mirai~), but the English otome game world has been busy: Agashi’s Queen’s Crown now has a Kickstarter campaign and is nearing the minimum funding goal, My Candy Love creators are launcing their second game Eldarya next month worldwide and Kenka Banchou Otome narrowly won Spike Chunsoft’s Twitter poll on which game their fans would like to see localised.
NOTE to those wondering: Yes, I will be writing posts about Rejet’s Summer Festival 2016 and Otomate’s Otomate Party 2016 events.
EDITED: 08/8/2016 + Added information about Kusunoki Yashiki no Monogatari. Thanks to kiri for the tip-off!
+ Added Collar x Malice Famitsuu review score.
While news has slightly slowed down, there were still some major announcements. PIL-VAMP have launched the teaser site of their second project R18+ Kusunoki Yashiki no Monogatari ~Himitsu no Ochoumen~. Koei Tecmo have opened up the website of the Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 6 sequel, Gentou Rondo. A’sRing’s third R18+ game Furue, Yurayura to’s website has also been launched as well. Release dates have been announced for Ken ga Kimi: Momoya Tsuzuri, Gentou Rondo and Black Wolves Saga -Weiβ und Schwarz-. Finally, Precatio has released the first of their two Kokorogawari demos.

While this week has been pretty quiet in terms of news quantity, there were a couple major announcements: eXtend are already working on their second title, which is called Side Kicks! and Otomate will be porting Hakuouki Yuugiroku to the PlayStation Vita. The Shiro to Kuro no Alice website has been opened to the public with most sections available for the interested to visit. Plus if you’ve been mulling over the popular Kin’iro no Corda series by Koei Tecmo, perhaps the discounts on two titles may convince you to give it a try.
EDIT: I accidentally wrote that Code: Realize ~Shukufuku no Mirai~ will be getting a soundtrack instead of Moujuu-tachi to Ohime-sama. Pardon my error, please!
While Tsumikui ~Sen no Noroi, Sen no Inori~ and Crank In got delayed, there was some positive news with Kalmia8 unveiling their sister brand Kalmia Scarlet along with the latter’s maiden project: Les Grande Odalisque (set for 2017). Love is a Game’s Kickstarter campaign got fully funded earlier this last week and A’sRing’s Enkan on Memoria got confirmed for release this October.
Good evening, readers!
It’s time for Issue #22, so let’s get right into it. The biggest announcement this week is Otomate revealing that they have another project in the works- it’s called Project Shiro to Kuro and will be for the PlayStation Vita. PIL-VAMP released a trial of [R18+] Mashou Megane on 13/7 for potential customers to try before they preorder. The next routes of Anicon by Zeiva Inc. will be Sheep’s and/or Rabbit’s with Cat’s Path Greenlit on Steam. PlayStation Vita ports Starry☆Sky ~Spring Stories~ and Torikago no Marriage ~Hatsukoi no Tsubasa~ will be joining Bara Sensou -Sonnet of Seeds- for a November 2016 release; planned for the 23rd and 24th respectively.
Another Sunday has arrived, so it’s time for Issue #21 of The Sunday Otome Gaming Mail. This week, the highlights are the launching of the Love is a Game Kickstarter campaign, the website launch of the much-awaited Daisy2’s Sangoku Rensenki: Sakikage and the teaser site launch of A’sRing’s fourth R18+ title, Furue Yurayura to. In the doujin otome world, cloche are ready to launch BLOODY TEA PARTY this month and Magic House have announced their next R18+ title, Tokiiro ni Moyuru Kokoro, Akaneiro ni Moyuru Kioku.
